Our story
Our family story
Connectea is built on our family legacy — generations of women and men who gave their lives to looking after others. This page is a small tribute to them, and a reminder of why we build what we build.

Across continents and decades, four lives stand out for the particular shape of that devotion.
1963 · Lahore → London
Apa Roshan
A young nurse who travelled alone to the UK to pursue her calling. A life of complete devotion to others.
1963 · Libya
Razia Baji
Decades of service to mothers and children. Awarded the Certificate of Excellence. A devoted carer to her own son at home.
1992
Aneela
Full-time carer to her son Omar for nearly 29 years, and later to our mother. Caring with the devotion of a parent.
2004 · UK
Dr Nabeela
Following Apa's footsteps to the UK. Now a Consultant in Stroke Medicine within the NHS, recognised many times for her commitment — especially during Covid.
We carry their example with us in everything we do at Connectea — the patience, the steady presence, the belief that people deserve dignity and real human connection.
Connectea exists because of them.
Our loving memories preserved.
Connectea is, in many ways, a tribute to them — and to everyone who shows up every day with that same quiet dedication.
